Validity and reliability of an assessment instrument for the management of entrepreneurial projects in secondary educationContenido principal del artículo
Developing entrepreneurial skills is fundamental for training individuals who can transform ideas into sustainable actions. The objective of this research was to analyze the validity and reliability of an assessment instrument to identify the levels of economic entrepreneurship project management among secondary school students in Peru. An instrumental methodological study was conducted with a sample of 50 students. Content was validated through expert judgment (Aiken's V), and construct validity and reliability were assessed using the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test with Bartlett's test, principal component analysis, and Varimax rotation, estimating reliability with Cronbach's alpha. The instrument demonstrated excellent content validity (Aiken's V > 0.90) and construct validity with a three-factor structure that explains 56.34% of the variance (KMO = 0.833) and optimal internal reliability (total α = .91; subscales .79–.88). It is concluded that this is a metrically sound tool, meeting fundamental psychometric criteria for scientific rigor and valid for assessing entrepreneurial project management competencies in secondary school students.
