Virtual infidelity, violence, resilience and academic performance in college studentsMain Article Content
Exploring the intersection between virtual infidelity, violence, resilience, and academic performance, this article analyzes the complexities faced by university students in their daily lives. An instrumental and correlational study was conducted for this purpose. The participation involved a sample of 101 university students. The instruments used were the Dating Violence Questionnaire (CUVINO), the Infidelity Perception Scale in Networks, and the Perception of Infidelity in Social Networks Scale. The results show that Model M3 is capable of explaining 94.13% of the data variability, and therefore, establish that the set of three independent variables (partner violence, infidelity in social networks, and resilience) has a statistically significant relationship with academic performance. The study highlights the importance of addressing violence, infidelity, and resilience, given their notable influence on academic activities.
