Section Policies
- Editorial: Provides an introduction to the topics of the manuscripts to be published in the corresponding quarterly issue. It aims to connect various scientific disciplines through dissemination and debate.
- Research Articles: Submissions must include appropriate research design, theoretical and methodological consistency, rigorous data handling, validity of findings, discussion, conclusions, study limitations, and, where applicable, future prospects. Manuscripts should be between 15 and 25 pages, including figures, notes, and references, and should be formatted with 1.5 line spacing.
- Review Articles: These are detailed, selective, and critical studies that integrate essential information on a specific topic, providing a comprehensive perspective. Review articles must describe the methodology for analysis or systematization, inclusion and exclusion criteria, among others. The length should not exceed 6,000 words, including figures, notes, and references, and should be formatted with 1.5 line spacing.
- Educational Interventions: Submissions must be theoretically and methodologically grounded to showcase educational innovations. Manuscripts should be between 15 and 25 pages, including figures, notes, and references, formatted with 1.5 line spacing.
- Book Reviews: Reviews should critically address the ideas, arguments, and themes of specialized books. The length should not exceed 3,000 words, including figures, notes, and references, formatted with 1.5 line spacing.
- Journal Reviews: Reviews should focus on national or international journals of interest to the scientific community. They must include: title, abstract in English and Spanish, thematic area, article type and frequency, publisher, institution, country, and location. Maximum length: 2 pages.
- Thesis and Dissertation Reviews: Reviews should focus on university research works and must include: title, author(s), abstract in Spanish and English (with keywords), thesis type (Doctoral, Master’s), advisor, department, university, and approval date. Maximum length: 2 pages.
- Web, Blog, and Electronic Document Reviews: Reviews should cover online works or references of academic interest. Structure: title, reviewer(s), brief content description, URLs, and justification for the reference. Maximum length: 4 pages.
- Events: Reports on academic events should include objectives, results, conclusions, and proposals. Identification data must be provided: event name, location, date, and objectives. This section also promotes conferences, congresses, meetings, and other events of interest. Maximum length: 3 pages.
