Background: English language teaching requires support to strengthen communicative practice in the classroom; consequently, audiovisual resources are increasingly being integrated into school-based educational processes. Objective: To analyze the relationship between audiovisual resources and English language learning among students at an educational institution. Methodology: The study employed a quantitative approach, basic research type, correlational level, and a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. The non-probabilistic sample consisted of 120 primary school students from an educational institution in Peru. A survey was used as the data collection technique, utilizing two questionnaires as instruments. Results: Descriptive statistics showed that 50.83 % of students rarely used audio media, 65.00 % rarely used audiovisual media, and 76.67 % never engaged in oral comprehension and expression activities. Spearman's Rho revealed a moderate positive relationship between the two variables (Rho = 0.364; p < 0.001; n = 120), with a moderate association for visual media (Rho = 0.375), a weak inverse association for audio media (Rho = -0.248), and a weak positive association for audiovisual media (Rho = 0.191). Conclusion: The students evaluated demonstrate a moderate positive association between the two variables; thus, the pedagogical integration of these media represents a suitable approach to strengthening language instruction within the evaluated school context.
