El cambio repentino hacia la enseñanza virtual ha impactado significativamente en la calidad de vida laboral de los docentes. Este estudio investigó la relación entre la calidad de vida laboral y las competencias digitales en docentes peruanos durante el segundo año de la pandemia. Participaron 96 docentes, quienes completaron encuestas diseñadas para este fin. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, correlacional y de corte transversal, revelando una relación directa y significativa entre ambas variables. Además, se exploró el posible papel moderador de la preparación académica en esta relación, aunque no se encontraron evidencias de asociación. Estos hallazgos resaltan la importancia de una gestión académica adecuada para mejorar la calidad de vida laboral de los docentes en un contexto desafiante como el actual.
The sudden shift to virtual teaching has significantly impacted teachers' quality of work life. This study investigated the relationship between the quality of work life and digital competencies in Peruvian teachers during the second year of the pandemic. Ninety-six teachers participated and completed surveys designed for this purpose. A quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional approach was used, revealing a direct and significant relationship between both variables. In addition, the possible moderating role of academic preparation in this relationship was explored, although no evidence of association was found. These findings highlight the importance of adequate academic management to improve the quality of work life of teachers in a challenging context such as the current one.
