En los últimos años, la Inteligencia Artificial (IA) ha desempeñado un papel crucial en el avance de los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje en la educación. Por tanto, es fundamental revisar los aportes de la IA y sintetizar experiencias que beneficien la educación infantil. Este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar cómo se ha aplicado la IA en el diseño curricular de la educación preescolar, evaluar su efectividad y determinar las mejores prácticas para mejorar la calidad del aprendizaje. Se empleó una metodología de revisión sistemática, analizando artículos publicados entre 2011 y 2022 en la base de datos Scopus. De un total de 524 estudios, se seleccionaron 20 investigaciones tras aplicar criterios de elegibilidad. Los hallazgos relevantes abordan la introducción a la IA, el aprendizaje automático, las técnicas de inteligencia artificial, y la ética en el uso de la IA. En conclusión, la IA puede ser una herramienta valiosa para mejorar la calidad de la educación preescolar.
In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has played a crucial role in the advancement of teaching and learning processes in education. Therefore, it is essential to review the contributions of AI and synthesize experiences that benefit early childhood education. This article aims to identify how AI has been applied in preschool education curriculum design, evaluate its effectiveness, and determine best practices to improve the quality of learning. A systematic review methodology was employed, analyzing articles published between 2011 and 2022 in the Scopus database. From a total of 524 studies, 20 investigations were selected after applying eligibility criteria. Relevant findings address introduction to AI, machine learning, artificial intelligence techniques, and ethics in the use of AI. In conclusion, AI can be a valuable tool for improving the quality of preschool education.
