Las competencias digitales son fundamentales en la formación académica debido a la creciente importancia de las tecnologías en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Este estudio analiza competencias digitales en estudiantes universitarios de pregrado entre 2013 y 2023 mediante una revisión sistemática y bibliométrica. Se evaluaron 159 publicaciones de Scopus, Web of Science y PubMed, seleccionando 37 artículos. Los hallazgos muestran significativa colaboración internacional, con España y Ucrania como los países más representados, y destacan las revistas Education Sciences y Sustainability. Los resultados subrayan la importancia de las competencias digitales en el aprendizaje, la enseñanza, el currículo, el diseño instruccional, las políticas educativas y su impacto social y laboral.

Digital competencies are fundamental in academic training due to the growing importance of technologies in teaching and learning processes. This study analyzes digital competencies in undergraduate university students between 2013 and 2023 through a systematic and bibliometric review. We evaluated 159 publications from Scopus, Web of Science and PubMed, selecting 37 articles. The findings show significant international collaboration, with Spain and Ukraine as the most represented countries, and Education Sciences and Sustainability journals stand out. The results underline the importance of digital competencies in learning, teaching, curriculum, instructional design, educational policies and their social and labor impact.
