Los adolescentes experimentan diversos trastornos de salud mental que deben ser abordados en las escuelas, de lo contrario podría conllevar a resultados negativos en la edad adulta. La presente investigación tiene como propósito identificar los trastornos de salud mental en los estudiantes de la educación secundaria en el contexto de la pandemia COVID-19. La metodología usada fue la revisión sistemática, para lo cual se elaboró una fórmula de búsqueda integral de investigaciones en la base de datos SCOPUS. Luego de aplicar los criterios de elegibilidad se identificaron 37 artículos para el análisis respectivo. De los resultados, se puede señalar que el continente asiático tiene la mayor cantidad de investigaciones con el 32.43%, seguido de USA y Corea del Sur con 10.81% cada uno. Se concluye la existencia de la alta prevalencia de síntomas de depresión y ansiedad en los adolescentes.

Adolescents experience various mental health disorders that need to be addressed in schools, otherwise it could lead to negative outcomes in adulthood. The present research aims to identify mental health disorders in secondary school students in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology used was systematic review, for which a comprehensive research search formula was developed in the SCOPUS database. After applying the eligibility criteria, 37 articles were identified for the respective analysis. From the results, it can be noted that the Asian continent has the highest amount of research with 32.43%, followed by the USA and South Korea with 10.81% each. The existence of the high prevalence of depressive and anxiety symptoms in adolescents is concluded
