Los cambios en la educación secundaria como resultado de la pandemia por COVID-19 generaron un gran desafío que incentivó la innovación y a alcanzar la calidad educativa. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar los cambios en la educación secundaria como resultado de la pandemia por COVID-19. Se realizó una revisión sistemática de artículos de investigación usando el método PRISMA aplicando como protocolo de búsqueda las palabras claves Educación a distancia, Educación secundaria, Pandemia de COVID-19 utilizando los booleanos “AND” y “OR”. Como criterios de inclusión se consideraron publicaciones en bases de datos: Scopus, Web of science, Ebsco, Scielo, y ProQuest, en idioma inglés y español de los últimos cinco años (2019-2023). Los criterios de exclusión fueron: investigaciones no relevantes para el estudio, sin información metodológica. Se concluye que el mayor cambio en la educación secundaria fue la adaptación de todos los actores educativos a la modalidad de aprendizaje a distancia.
The changes in secondary education as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic generated a great challenge that encouraged innovation and the achievement of educational quality. The aim of the study was to analyze the changes in secondary education as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. A systematic review of research articles was carried out using the PRISMA method, applying as a search protocol the keywords Distance education, Secondary education, COVID-19 pandemic using the Booleans “AND” and “OR”. Inclusion criteria included publications in the following databases: Scopus, Web of science, Ebsco, Scielo, and ProQuest, in English and Spanish from the last five years (2019-2023). The exclusion criteria were: research not relevant to the study, without methodological information. It is concluded that the major change in secondary education was the adaptation of all educational actors to the distance learning modality.
