The educational system must incorporate innovative tools that favor useful lifelong learning experiences. This study aims to analyze the implications of artificial intelligence (AI) in the educational sector, considering the ethical aspects and challenges for its implementation. A systematic review was carried out applying the PRISMA methodology. The sources of information were SciELO, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar and ERIC. Boolean operators were used to select review and original articles in English and Spanish (2019-2023), excluding duplicate articles. The MyLOFT application was used to access the databases, and 10 papers were analyzed. It is concluded that AI is transforming education by improving the personalization of learning, providing immediate feedback, and automating administrative tasks. However, it is crucial to consider ethical challenges, such as bias and privacy.
