Strengthening the training of Basic Education students as researcher apprentices
Strengthening the training of Basic Education students as researcher apprenticesMain Article Content
Preparing teachers as researchers in their formative work constitutes an alternative to improve their performance. Therefore, we sought to understand the meanings attributed to research by Basic Education students, integrated as apprentice researchers. Discussion groups and semi-structured interviews were used. Among the instruments used were: a battery of detonating propositions and category analysis matrices. For the presentation of the results and their subsequent discussion, word clouds, summary tables and semantic networks designed with the support of the ATLAS.ti program were used. It is concluded that the research training of future teachers constitutes a new scenario of theoretical-methodological intervention that should be approached from university education. This will restore to teaching its status as a vital profession for the improvement of socio-cultural conditions and for the integral development of teachers, students and the community of interaction.
