Validity and reliability of the Gaudiability Scale in university studentsMain Article Content
Positive psychology is currently exploring the concept of gaudibility, contributing to psychophysiological well-being. Therefore, the main objective of this research was to determine the evidence of validity and reliability of the Gaudiability Scale in Peruvian university students. This study was framed in the category of applied research and the selected design was instrumental. The sample of 346 subjects was obtained through simple random sampling. On the other hand, the instrument used was the Morelia Adult Gaudiability Scale. A standardized Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.8512 was evidenced; additionally, for all the cases analyzed, p>0.05, reason for which it can be affirmed that no significant differences are reported. The conditions of the environment rather than those of the individual are the most likely to positively or negatively affect the respondents' gaudibility.
