Environmental deterioration constitutes a global problem, where education plays an essential role in shaping citizens committed to sustainability. This study analyzes the influence of creative teaching on the environmental awareness of high school students at a private educational institution in Cañete, Peru. Using a quantitative approach and correlational design, a sample of 63 students was assessed through the General Ecological Behavior Scale (GEB-50) and the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT). The results demonstrated that creative teaching positively influences environmental awareness, with statistical significance across all evaluated dimensions. In conclusion, creative teaching proves essential for fostering meaningful environmental awareness and promoting sustainable behaviors among students.
