Key indicators in the scientific production of university teachers based on the ACRIN questionnaire
Key indicators in the scientific production of university teachers based on the ACRIN questionnaireMain Article Content
The objective of the study was to identify the key indicators related to the scientific production of university teachers. The research adopted a quantitative and descriptive approach, using a non-experimental design and a sample of 85 teachers from a university in Lima, applying the questionnaire of Marquina et al. (2020). The results highlighted indicators such as interest in training in scientific writing (83.53%), knowledge of writing styles (91.76%) and management of scientific journals (94.12%). The teachers surveyed expressed a positive attitude towards research and a good technical level; however, they face limitations such as lack of institutional support, restricted access to scientific information and low participation in support networks. It was concluded that strengthening access to resources, technical training and the promotion of research groups are essential to improve scientific productivity. Likewise, an adequate infrastructure and greater institutional incentives are determinant to enhance the generation of knowledge.
